Why Choose Our Fruit Baskets
When you send a fruit basket from iGift Hampers, you're sending more than fruit — you're sending a beautifully presented gift that arrives fresh, looks just as good as it did when our team packed it, and feels genuinely thoughtful to receive.
Every fruit basket is hand-packed to order using a selection of fresh, seasonal fruit, so your recipient is getting produce at its best rather than something that's been sitting pre-packaged in a warehouse. We choose a mix of textures and colours so each basket looks as good as it tastes, and we're happy to swap out items for allergies or personal preferences where possible — just let us know in the order notes.
Order before our same-day dispatch cut-off and we'll have your fruit basket on its way the same day, with next-day delivery available to most major Australian cities. Every order also comes with the option to add a personalised card, ribbon, or printed photo, so even a same-day gift still feels considered rather than last-minute.
Fruit baskets work for almost any occasion — birthdays, thank yous, congratulations, new babies, or simply because someone deserves a treat — but they're especially popular as a thoughtful gesture for sympathy and get-well wishes, when a beautifully presented, fresh gift often feels more appropriate than flowers or sweets alone. If that's what you're after, take a look at our sympathy hampers or get well gifts for options specifically curated for those moments.
Whether you're sending a small fresh fruit basket to say thanks or a large, generous basket for a milestone celebration, every order is packed with the same care and shipped Australia-wide.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between a fruit basket and a fruit hamper? The terms are largely used interchangeably, and that's exactly how we use them too — both refer to a curated selection of fresh fruit, beautifully presented and ready to gift. Some people use "hamper" specifically for gifts that combine fruit with other treats like chocolate, nuts, or wine. Want the full breakdown? Read our guide on fruit hampers vs fruit baskets.
Can I get a fruit basket delivered same day in Sydney? Yes. Orders placed before our same-day dispatch cut-off are eligible for same-day delivery to Sydney metro postcodes. For other major cities, next-day delivery is generally available. See our delivery information page for full postcode coverage and cut-off times.
Do you deliver fruit baskets Australia-wide? Yes — we deliver to all major cities and most regional areas across Australia. Delivery timeframes vary by location, with metro areas generally receiving next-day or same-day service and regional addresses taking a little longer.
Can I add chocolate, flowers, or other treats to a fruit basket? Absolutely. Many of our fruit baskets can be customised with add-ons like chocolate, wine, candles, or flowers, and you can also use our Create Your Own Gift Box feature to build a fully personalised combination from scratch.
Are fruit baskets a good gift for sympathy or get-well wishes? Yes — fresh fruit is one of the most popular gifts for both occasions, offering something genuinely useful and thoughtful rather than something that will wilt or sit unopened. See our dedicated sympathy hampers and get well gifts ranges if you'd like options curated specifically for these moments.
Can I include a personalised message with my fruit basket? Yes — every order includes the option to add a free personalised card. You can also add a custom ribbon or a printed photo to make the gift feel even more personal.
