Who it's for
Birthdays, a housewarming, a team thank you, end-of-year staff gifts, or a mate who prefers cider to beer. Because it isn't perishable, it's a handy pick when the recipient lives interstate or you want it waiting at a holiday house.
Serving tip
Chill the ciders well and serve over ice. Tip the olives and nuts into bowls and open the chips just before guests arrive.
Make it personal
Add a card, a personalised ribbon ($6.99), a Polaroid photo ($14.99), chocolates, a 60g candle, a soft toy or more gourmet food.
