How hospital delivery works in Victoria

Express delivery for fresh gifts. Fruit baskets and fresh hampers are sent by express. Express orders placed by 2pm Monday to Thursday are dispatched the same day, and most Melbourne metro deliveries arrive the next business day.
Regional Victoria. Deliveries to regional hospitals can take a little longer, so order early if timing matters.
Delivered to reception or the ward. Couriers usually leave hospital deliveries at the main reception or the ward's nurses' station, and staff take them to the patient.
Check they'll still be in hospital. Fresh gifts are perishable and are left with hospital staff, so we can't take responsibility if the patient has already gone home. If they may be discharged soon, send the gift to their home instead.

How to address a gift to a Victorian hospital

The ward name or number (more reliable than a bed number)
